Orivis Hydros Fly Reel - The new Orvis Hydros Reel is the result of our own desire to make something great, that much better. We took a best-selling reel and removed unnecessary material to further reduce the weight while stiffening the narrow spool, which minimizes line stacking. We changed the drag knob to be more ergonomically accessible and comfortable to use. We further refined the seal on the sealed drag to protect the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism. We radiused the reel foot as on the Mirage for kink-free leader protection. The fully sealed drag with stacked carbon and stainless steel disc washers is still one of the strongest in the industry, with zero start-up inertia. Matte type II anodized finish, standard large arbor size which balances better with lighter-weight fly rod, and yet still offers excellent retrieval rates and less line coiling than standard arbor reels. Refinement and improvement are the hallmarks of quality. Matte black with silver accents, matte silver with charcoal accents.

Rod Warranty: The Orvis 25-Year guarantee means we’ll fix your broken rod. If we can't fix it, we replace it, no questions asked. This applies to the H3, Recon, Superfine Glass or Carbon (since 01/01/88), Clearwater (since 01/01/99), or Clearwater Frequent Flyer rod. Please note: For the Streamline, Green Mountain or Encounter fly rod series, they are only warranted for defects in original workmanship only.

Reel Warranty: We warranty our reels against defects in materials and workmanship. The Orvis lifetime warranty does not cover accidental breakage, breakage from abuse, or excessive wear and tear. Reels should be sent to Repair Shop for evaluation. reel repair/service, includes cleaning, lubrication, and return shipping.

Wader Warranty: While we go to great lengths to ensure every Orvis wader is built to our high quality, waders will eventually wear out and fail, much like the tires on your car. Waders that fail due to manufacturing issues or defects will be repaired, replaced at Orvis' discretion, free of charge for the life cycle of the product. Repairs are also offered for products that are damaged or show failure from normal use, wear and tear. Accidents is not covered under Orvis's warranty.
