    Great Value Reel

    Let’s face it, a 5wt reel doesn’t have to get complicated for the species you’re looking to reel in with it. This reel, albeit die-cast, feels in line with Sage’s 2200 series, and quite honestly has the flare of adding the design of your choice.
    It’s a nice idea, and gives your real a different kind of character compared to all the rest out there.
    The drag is solid, it does what it should. Being that it comes pre-spoiled, another added value. If you’re picky about your backing and need $80 fly line, then just opt for the reel alone. I’ve owned a bunch, this one is the most fun of them given I can change the look anytime I want.

    This is a great reel that came with a great price, by a great online fly shop. I’ve put it to the test already on some of the larger bass I’ve caught all year and looking forward to using to catch some steel head in the future.
