    This is an awesome tool

Posted by Tim Lundgren on Jul 11th 2017

As a kid, I grew up fishing the lakes of northern Minnesota and Canada. Quite often there was the call of the loon piercing the morning fog lifting off of the lake. The sound of the loon left an indelible mark on me and the loon became my favorite bird. So naturally, a fly fishing tool with the emblem of a loon on it tugs at my heart strings. Aside from that, this is an awesome tool. Besides being an object of beauty it is very well made and stout enough to do the job and last a long time. The grip on the handle feels really nice and is far more substantial than the coating you see on a lot of tools. The tip has a smooth section and a serrated section for two different grips and having a scissor on the same tool will come in very handy for a lot of different tasks as well as the little pin to clean out the eye of a hook. I like this tool so well I may buy another one just to hang on the wall in my living room as a knickknack.
