What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is that I love coming to work everyday. I have strived to create a work environment in which our team members enjoy doing what they do each day as much as I do. I also enjoy the challenge of looking for unique and innovative products that inspire people’s love of the great outdoors.
Describe your perfect adventure?
I have many passions such as skiing, road biking, sailing, fishing. I am game for most anything in the outdoors. My perfect adventure is taking each of these passions to the next or different level. Riding in a helicopter and being dropped off at the top of a mountain in fresh powder with my family, riding bikes in Italy with my wife, daughter and her husband, sailing to Hawaii, and fishing in our beautiful Colorado mountains with my sons. There are so many adventures ready to be had!

What is the best part of your job?
There is much I enjoy about my job so it is really hard to pick just one thing. Purchasing for AvidMax grants me many opportunities. One of the coolest aspects is access to the latest and greatest products dreamt up by manufactures in the fly fishing and outdoor industries. As a gearhead I feel very fortunate to get to see and use all the newest ground breaking technologies and products.
Describe your perfect adventure?
There are many adventures in the back of my head and on my bucket list. From traveling to South America for Golden Dorados, heading to Asia for Taimen, or Christmas Island for Giant Trevally on the fly, to through hiking the Colorado Trail, PCT, AT and CDT. It is hard for me to say what my perfect adventure would be but right now I think it would be more of a survival goal. Heading into the mountain wilderness (one that has good resources) to see if I can last a few days with minimal equipment. Might be crazy for some, but who doesn't like to push the limits, right?

Describe your perfect adventure?
My perfect adventure would be to travel to Ireland! My dream is to be able to visit all the old castles, explore the amazing countryside, and to learn all about my family's history. Of course, no trip to Ireland would be complete without also experiencing the Pubs, food, and traditions the smaller towns have to offer!
