The Hippie Stomper (AKA Holo Humpy) is a summertime favorite. Created by Andrew Grillos, (an Umpqua Feather Merchants signature tyer) this fly is a great addition to your summertime terrestrial/big bug dry box. Inspired by the OG Humpy pattern, this fly elevates on the water using closed-cell foam and a poly wing for visibility. The Hippie Stomper really shines as a large attractor on its own, leading a small dry, or hanging some of the heavier dropper flies below. Don't let the name scare you, fish love it!
