In this week’s episode of Tying Tuesdays, watch as Brady Laehr ties the Charlie Boy Hopper! Charlie Craven sure can build a fly. The Charlie Boy Hopper is no exception. This fly is 90% foam and the benefits from that are many. Not only is it easily shapeable to create the body you are looking for but it floats like a cork. This pattern is a summertime favorite for me as it stays high and dry all day with little curing needed. It holds up in fast water and will be a staple in your hopper dropper style rigs.
