Overview

The Meat Whistle is a fly pattern created by John Barr. It was originally designed for bass fishing but is equally effective while fishing for trout. It primarily mimics crayfish (crawdads) and fishes great along the bottom of still and moving water. Use a slow hop and drop technique along the bottom to attract large predatory fish.
