The Echo King is a 13' two-hand rod built for king salmon. Echo pairs a progressive medium fast action with an extra-strong backbone, so it lifts heavy Skagit heads and big sink tips off the bottom and keeps a big chinook pinned once it runs. Echo chose the 13' length for leverage without making tree-lined banks a snagging problem.

On Echo's action and power chart the King is the most powerful two-hand rod in the lineup. It has a gloss black blank with red wraps, TiCH low-profile stripping guides, heavy duty cork grips with composite inserts and an anodized black aluminum reel seat. Both models are 13' and 4-piece, and come in a fabric-covered rod case with a sock.

The lighter of the two Kings, at about 8.2 oz. It still has the King's extra-strong butt for lifting heavy tips, in a size that also suits big steelhead.

Best for: king salmon and big steelhead with heavy Skagit heads and big sink tips.

ECHOKING-10130 - 13' 10 wt

The heaviest rod in Echo's two-hand line, for the largest kings, the biggest flies and the heaviest tips on big rivers. It weighs about 8.4 oz.

Best for: the biggest king salmon, heavy tips and big flies on large rivers.
