    Outcast Backpack Rins

Posted by David Eriksen on Nov 26th 2023

These were my first float tube fins, and I'm sad I managed to lose them. They were fairly lightweight and seemed to generate more kick thrust than the ones I now own. I really liked the quick and simple snap buckles. Once the fit is set, easy on and off. That said, I must recommend getting a set of "fin saver" straps for added security, in case the snap buckles come loose while you're in the middle of a lake. One last comment is that the fins are made of plastic and can potentially crack if you try to walk in them. Definitely a bad idea. I would have given the fins 5 stars but for the need for Fin Savers and the potential for cracking. Then again, I wouldn't let those factors from not giving these a try. At least worth getting as a handy set of back up fins.
