Lighter, stronger, smarter: the Patagonia Men's Swiftcurrent® Expedition Zip-Front Waders are Patagonia's toughest all-season waders, built to handle the hardest conditions, from swinging for winter steelhead to pushing through the surf for stripers. An updated material package, a refined feature set and an evolution of sizing, patterning and fit let them work more efficiently and fish harder.
The 4-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell pairs a lightweight 5.6-oz upper that cuts bulk with a tough 9.4-oz lower that bolsters durability, both 100% recycled polyester microfiber with a DWR finish made without intentionally added PFAS. A submersible YKK® front zipper makes layering and streamside relief easy, and fully adjustable, quick-release suspenders, a top-hem drawcord and the included Secure Stretch wading belt convert them from chest-high to waist-high.
A gusseted crotch with an articulated seat and legs, repatterned for durability, repairability and reduced seam stress, moves naturally in and out of the water. Removable foam kneepads, heavy-duty scuff guards at the ankles and anatomical, lower-volume booties with a sock-like fit round out the build.
Storage includes two zippered handwarmer pockets, two vertical-zippered chest pockets sized for fly boxes, a fishing tool dock, pack loop attachment points and a low-profile net loop at the center back.
