    I have 2 of these from 45 years ago and I bought 2 more recently for my son who is learning to fish These are great tools for quickly tying strong knots either line to line or line to hook or lure

    The Tie-Fast Knot Tyer has allowed me to quit carrying a nail in my fishing vest. This was a relief because every nail I carried rusted up, which made it more difficult to tie attach my leader butt to my fly line. This device not only does not rust but it simplifies tying nail knots and is easy to learn to use. I've tried using other nail knot tools but this one is by far the best I've ever used.

    I used to avoid trying my leader to fly like and would opt to use the loop to loop connection instead. I finally decided it was time to learn how, and this made it super easy to make the switch.

    Save time and decrease your streamside vulgarities

    Love this tool. Can whip together knots like I was using 3/4" Dacron line. Have tried several other knot tying tools, most were OK but none made it quick and easy. Great tool for streamside work, when time is precious. No more standing around cursing your lack of knot tying skills.

    I have owned several of these tools. They do not wear out, you show your friends how it is used and the next thing you know your buying another. I have both tools, large and magnum. I fish the intra-coastal and off shore waters of Florida and these tools come in mighty handy. I use to tie blood knots and nail knots but no more. As you get up in years and you can not see as well as you used to, this is the gizmo that will help you out. With just a little practice you will become a pro. Sure, your first try may not go well but it takes just a little practice. You weren't so good at kissin' Mary Lou the first time, remember? Now get out there and do some fishin'!!

    For me, this is a must have tool on the water and on my leader and loop building desk. I bought this as a replacement for one I had for over 10 years and somehow lost. Now I'm back in business without having to use a lesser "make do" tool.
