Overview

Montana Fly Company’s Holosheen is a premium flash material designed to bring next-level brilliance and movement to your fly patterns. Made from ultra-thin, durable synthetic fibers, Holosheen reflects a broad spectrum of light to create intense holographic effects that catch fish and turn heads. Whether you're tying trout streamers, saltwater baitfish, or flashy steelhead flies, this material provides the visibility and flare needed to trigger aggressive strikes. The 1/69" width is ideal for wings, tails, and ribbing, offering just the right balance of shimmer without overwhelming the profile of your fly. Holosheen is highly pliable, easy to tie in, and holds up well to repeated casting and strikes. Available in a variety of vivid, reflective colorways, it’s a go-to option for fly tiers looking to elevate the visual appeal of their flies. If you want your patterns to pop in low light, deep water, or stained conditions, Holosheen delivers unmatched performance with a radiant finish.
