Overview

MFC Widow's Web is a high-volume, low-weight synthetic yarn that works as wings, tails, bodies and parachute posts across nymphs, streamers, wets and dries. The fibres are water-resistant, so the material stays light on the cast instead of loading up and sinking a fly — one reason it has become a staple for oversized pike and saltwater wings as well as trout patterns.

A single hank splits down easily: use a full clump for a visible parachute post on a big hopper or foam attractor, or pull it thin for the wing on a small parachute mayfly. It also spins up into durable yarn strike indicators.

Available in 14 colours, from natural Tan, Olive and Polar Bear through high-visibility Chartreuse, Orange and Yellow.
