Description

Overview

This listing carries two of the most versatile Orvis Clearwater rods: the 9' 6 wt and the 9' 8 wt. The Clearwater is the fly rod Orvis calls the best for the money, redesigned from the ground up by Orvis's rod designers in Vermont, with a black chrome blank, chrome guides, a black nickel aluminum reel seat and a gray rod tube.

The 6 wt is a powerful trout and light bass rod, and the 8 wt is built for big game, with a fighting butt and the power for bass, bonefish, stripers and false albacore. Between them they cover big trout, bass and most light saltwater fishing.

Which Should You Choose?

Big trout, streamers and bass bugs: 2S7L5151 (9' 6 wt).

Bass, bonefish, stripers and other big game: 2S7R5151 (9' 8 wt).
