    Buttery Smooth

Posted by Chris George on Apr 29th 2019

Had an opportunity to take my new 7ft 3 wt out this past weekend and let me tell you this rod lives up to it's name! I love the retro look of this rod. I paired it with a matte black Ross Colorado LT which is a great balance of aesthetics and performance. The casting action on this rod is slow and smooth. I paired this rod with Rio Light Line WF3F which seems to be a great match. The rod threw very nice loops and gently presented the fly. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and, as always, AvidMax came through with excellent customer service. This is my first glass rod and I would recommend this rod to anybody looking for glass rod! #glassisnotdead
