Our ESN was designed specifically for Europeanstyle nymphing techniques developed to maximize catch rates. Built with a KonneticHD backbone, the ESN allows anglers to experience unmatched blank recovery, increased sensitivity, reduced weight-in-hand, and superior shock absorption to better hold fish. REDUCED WEIGHT-IN-HAND

Every detail in the ESN series is designed around maximum efficiency for the most technical of tight-line nymph anglers. This means that the extremely lightweight blank and minimal componentry aren’t the only contribution to the featherweight feel in hand, but a down-locking aluminum reel seat pulls the balance point even closer to the angler allowing for less fatigue while keeping the rod tip high.

The soft tip of the ESN allows for superior protection of the finest tippet and leaders. Combined with a powerful lower end, the ESN is able to effectively lift fish out of deep lies and heavy water without sacrificing tippet protection.

Optimizing our graphite-to-resin ratio, we have created a higher density (HD) fiber composite, resulting in lighter, stronger blanks which deliver unmatched recovery, energy transfer, and line/loop control. Our most versatile ESN, the 3100-4 is a perfect all around tool for both long and short line techniques. It is at home fishing larger weight flies or emergers for small wild fish as well as big trophies.
