Overview

A floating line with a sinking front tip, for the days when trout are working just under the surface and a full floater leaves your fly too high. The body floats and holds your line up where you can manage it, while the S2 tip takes the fly down into the top few feet and keeps it there through the retrieve.

That combination is what makes it easy to fish a chironomid or an emerger at a fixed depth without a full sinking line dragging your whole presentation down. Built two sizes heavy, so it loads quickly and handles the longer leaders stillwater fishing asks for, with welded loops at both ends for fast leader changes.

The head sits in the front section of a 100-foot line, working back through a three-stage front taper into the belly and a rear taper, with running line behind it. Muted camo colouration in a Grass, Willow and Dark Green finish, AST Plus for a slick shoot through the guides, and SA Line ID printed on the line so it is easy to identify on the reel. A freshwater trout line for cold and medium water, at home on nymphs and streamers. Made in the USA.
