Overview

A dedicated floating line for lake and reservoir trout, built two sizes heavy so it loads a rod quickly and carries the long leaders, indicators and multi-fly rigs that stillwater fishing runs on.

The extra mass up front makes short, unhurried casts easy from an anchored boat or a float tube, and gives you enough authority to reach a rising fish before it moves on. Welded loops at both ends mean you can change leaders without cutting and re-rigging, and the Improved Dry Tip keeps the front taper riding high through a long session on the water.

The head sits in the front section of a 100-foot line, running back through a three-stage front taper into the belly and a rear taper, with running line behind it. AST Plus keeps the coating shooting cleanly through the guides, and SA Line ID is printed on the line so you can tell this one apart from the rest of your spools at a glance. Finished in a Grass, Willow and Buckskin colourway, and made in the USA.
