Overview

A full sinking line with three densities built into one continuous taper, running Sink 3 into Sink 5 and back to Sink 3. The faster centre section pulls the middle of the line down while the ends stay comparatively slower, so the line settles into a shallow curve rather than hanging in a straight diagonal.

The point of that shape is contact. Your fly sits at the bottom of the curve and the line comes back up to the rod tip, which keeps you connected to the fly through the whole retrieve and makes takes easier to feel. Instead of a conventional rear taper this line uses a Seamless Density blend, so the densities transition into one another with no hard joint to hinge or to kick on the cast.

Two textured hang markers sit in the front of the line at 10 and 20 feet, and an audible reference point lets you find a known length by ear and repeat a retrieve that is working. The head sits in the front section of a 100-foot line, running back through a three-stage front taper into the belly and the density blend. Built two sizes heavy for quick loading and long leaders, welded loops on both ends, finished in Dark Green, Charcoal and Dark Green, with AST Plus for a slick shoot and SA Line ID printed on the line.
