Overview

When strength, abrasion resistance, and stealth all matter, the TroutHunter Fluorocarbon Leader (9 Foot, No Loop) delivers for spooky trout and other species. Made from premium fluorocarbon, it is nearly invisible underwater and sinks faster than nylon, helping flies reach the feeding zone.

This knotless tapered leader is built with a longer butt section for turning over larger flies, and its abrasion resistance stands up to rocks, weeds, and hard-fighting fish. It is a versatile choice for freshwater, saltwater, and anadromous species alike.

This is the no-loop version: the butt end is plain, with no pre-tied loop, so you attach it to your fly line with your own connection (nail knot, or tie your own perfection loop for a loop-to-loop setup). TroutHunter also makes this leader with a pre-tied loop, sold separately as the Trouthunter Fluorocarbon Leaders 9 ft With Loop.

Offered here in 2X and 3X, a strong match for nymphs, streamers, and larger dries.
